Who is Abado for?
This version is made for Slovak speakers learning Dutch and Dutch speakers learning Slovak. The explanations are built around exactly that language pair. This page is in English so you can read what Abado does; the courses themselves teach Dutch and Slovak.
What can I try for free?
After signing in you can try Abado for free. If content is Premium or locked, you see that before you open it.
Do I need an account?
Yes. The app asks you to sign in before you can start.
Does Abado work offline?
Not every function is guaranteed without internet. Part of your progress and content is kept on the device, but syncing, loading Premium content and some online functions need a connection.
Which devices does it work on?
Abado is a web app for modern mobile and desktop browsers. Speech functions can differ per browser and device.
What makes Abado different?
The focus is the Dutch and Slovak pair: explanations in a language you understand, sentences and conversations in context, scheduled review and several playful ways to practise.
